Meyer, as China's leading supplier in optoelectronic identification technology, and Starbucks announced September 20 that they entered into a strategic cooperation agreement under which Meyer will offer its latest AI color sorters, CG series,helping Starbucks select high-quality coffee beans.
This agreement was made based on common pursuit of food's quality and safety."This agreement is a brilliant next step in our longstanding partnership, enabling us to supercharge the coffee business in China while ensuring consistently high quality of materials with Meyer's AI sorting technology", said the purchasing manager of Starbucks.
Starbucks, the world's top brand of coffee, has continued to purchase Meyer's AI sorting equipment since 2014, making sure every coffee bean is well-chosen. Meyer has earned Starbucks' trust by its expertise in the grain sorting field, and has been seen as a longtime partner in China, the second largest market for Starbucks globally.
