Meyer, as China's leading supplier in optoelectronic identification technology, attended the 82th Thessaloniki International Fair inaugurated on September 9. Our latest AI technology for food and grain processing was highly appreciated by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tripras.
Alexis Tripras came to a better understanding about Meyer's AI sorting technology after visiting Meyer's booth, and expected Meyer to offer solutions to local food processing enterprises.
Meyer's booth was heavily crowded by customers strongly interested in its AI sorting technology. "This is the first time to attend the exhibition of great importance among the EU countries, since Meyer started exploring the market of grain sorting in Greece in 2011. We have strong confidence to meet ever-changing demands from European customers based on high quality of our products and industry's leading technologies", the Asia-Europe sales manager of Meyer said.
The Thessaloniki International Fair is the biggest commercial expo, not only in Greece but in the entire Balkan region. Meyer responded to the call of "one belt one road" to attend the China-themed fair in 2017 with the State Grid and the China Ocean Shipping Company, totalling 150 Chinese big players, presenting its state-of-the-art scientific achievements, especially considering this year marked the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Greece.
