The construction project of intelligent coating and sheet metal manufacturing base with capacity of 20,000 units per year was ground-broken on April 24th. Chairman Tian Ming, executive general manager Shen Haibin and vice-general manager Ni Yingjiu attended the ceremony.

In recent years, Meyer has adhered to comprehensive reform of R&D, design, manufacture, supply and service. MAGA (Meyer Advanced Global Architecture), the overall R&D manufacturing platform, has been launched in March. It is devoted to produce better sorters in a more scientific and more efficient way. Sorters will be more cost-effective, more stable and more intelligent. Under MAGA, Meyer speeds up the intelligent production facilities construction. After intelligent factory, Meyer invested heavily into intelligent coating and sheet metal manufacturing base to take the lead to realize comprehensive automatic production of components and appearance.

Meyer invests about RMB 360million to this project which covers about 60000 square meters with 39000 square meters structure area and construction period is 220 days. After the completion of this project, the supporting production capacity will reach 20,000 units per year and newly increased output value will achieve RMB 450million. It will promote coating and sheet metal manufacturing technique, product quality and production efficiency greatly to provide foundation and assurance for strategic development of Meyer.
